1. This, That, These and Those are called demonstrative pronouns and they are used to show the distance between the speaker and the noun.We use This (Singular) and These (Plural) to refer to something that is near and we use That (Singular) and Those (Plural) to refer to something that is far.
A. Form the plural. Use These and Those.
(i) This is a big bus. These are big buses.
(ii) That is a red dress. Those are red dresses.
(iii) This is my bag. These are my bags.
(iv) That is a brown fox. Those are brown foxes.
(v) This is a blue potato. These are blue potatoes.
B. Form the singular. Use This and That.
(i) These are my books. This is my book.
(ii) Those are children. That is a child.
(iii) These are our boxes. This is my box.
(iv) Those are my oranges. That is my orange.
(v) These are flowers. This is a flower.
2. Decide if the sentences need a :
Period (full stop) = .
Exclamation mark = !
Question mark = ?
Some sentences can have Two possible answers. Write both answers using a slash.
Example: (. / !) or (? / !)
(i) The boy run as fast as he could . / !

3. Combine each pair of sentences using a comma (,) and the word given in the brackets.

4. Fill in the blanks using the Comparative form and Superlative form of the adjectives.

- The sun is brighter (bright) than the moon.
B. Write the superlative form of the adjective. Don't forget to use "the" in front of the superlatives !

C. Write the comparative or superlative form of the adjective.
- My brother is younger (young) than me.
